Mickey's Not So Scary Costumes

Howdy y'all!
I wanted to ask yall a question that's been on my mind. My family will be dressing up as chracters from Duffy and friends for the event. I chose my favorite chracter: Gelatoni. I made ears and a tail, but I came up on a question: am I allowed to wear the tail in the park? It isn't large, I made it a fairly small size because of fact I didn't want it to disrupt other guests. It curls up like a cat's tail and goes about two inches past the back of my knees. I just wanted to know if any of y'all have any advice on this: if I should wear it or not. This will be out first Not So Scary event.

I don't think you will find that to be a problem. Disney sells Sulley/Tigger tails in their shops, even. Costumes can get pretty elaborate at MNSSHPs. Have fun!

You should be fine.

The main thing Disney is worried about is a full face mask that would obstruct your vision, something with an excessive level of gore and/or looking so much like a Disney character that you are mistaken for a cast member.

You should be fine for attractions as long as you can sit on the tail.

I figured you could. Even if it was difficult my wife and daughters survived with full crinolines so I figured you could make it work for a night.

speaking of crinolines—I wore a full hoop under my pirate costume but totally fit in the rides (barely)—I ended up taking them off because I felt they were a bit, um, much!

Watching my wife and kids stuffing themselves into the Space Mountain cars with them on was worth the price of admission.

Lol—I did ok until I stuffed myself into SDMT and my poor husband had dress all o er him and the CM was looked at me like “really??”—I took the hoops off at point and then had a better time (except dress was a tad long and was on the ground a bit—crinoline would e been a better plan for the parks; hoops we’re good when we were on the cruise ship)!

The issue might have been if the tail was long enough to reach the ground and would have caused a hazard to a guest stepping on it and/or tripping over it. Which by your photos wouldnt be a problem.
