mickeys magical milestones tour
we did the tour and i have to be honest, it was a complete waste of time
we met at the front of the park, about a dozen people in the group
we all got square yellow buttons to wear
i thought it was going to be a little history of mickey in film
you know, walk past sir mickey's and meet willie and the beanstalk, as well as high and low points of mickey in film
was nothing at all like that
we walked around and the guide showed up hidden mickeys, we rode the train and had to try and draw a picture of mickey, went to toon town and got to meet mickey in a group before it opened to the public
with only a dozen people we were rushed for pictures, only one per family, a total of 4 pictures and we were out of there, and no photo pass
we were brought to a small out of the way space behind the christmas shoppe where goofy was waiting for us with mickey ears, with our names written on the ears with a gold marker, not even embroidered on them, with a gold marker! it has only been a year and we keep them in the cabinet, most of the marker has chipped off leaving an ugly mickey ear display
again we were rushed for pictures with goofy, only one per family and then they left, and again no photo pass
to recap
we got a yellow pin and a pair of mickey ears with our names written in gold ink
no history of mickey in film, nothing that the average person didn't know
we did get to see a bunch of hidden mickeys which i personally do not care about, and the only family in the group that did knew each and every one already
