I know it seems like I harp a lot on an abandoned concept like Mickey's Madhouse (like here, for instance: https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/mickeys-madhouse-information.952742/), but the fact is, it's based on the Mickey cartoons of old, and I like them a lot. I was raised on them.
Anyway, I've tried to do some research on this ride, doing searches on Google and even sharing on Disney-themed fansites, all to no avail. All I know is that it was to have been an indoor roller coaster, not unlike Space Mountain, with no way to anticipate twists and turns, but themed to the old cartoons. Also, Ward Kimball would have been involved. Here's a video that explains (go to 4:08):
In the absence of actual knowledge, I would like to at least be able to speculate what could have happened in the ride. Moreover, I'm not sure how a studio tour like the one described in the video would fit a circus (it would have been put into what would have been Dumbo's Circusland).
