Mickey's Halloween Party - fun for just adults?

Hi everyone. I did a search through the forums and I couldn't find any discussion about my question but I apologize if this is a repeat.

My boyfriend and I are going to DL in October. We are considering Mickey's Halloween Party but we're curious - is it more a kid's thing?

It seems like all the extra "perks" of the party are geared for the kids (trick or treating, that kind of thing). How much shorter are the lines during the party? Do most of the rides close?

Are there any extra events for adults?

Thanks!

I've only gone with other adults and we always have a blast. Trick or treat while you're there - you paid your money and they'll be happy to give you poop tons of candy and snacks. Dress up, see the fireworks, get candy - ride lines are generally short too.

No extra events per se for adults though I assume you could make use of the dance party. I believe that most rides are open as well. I say go for it once at least.

I went for the first time last year. No kids in my party. In fact I was by myself. I loved it. Definitely dress up. It may not be just for adults but the party is the only time adults can. The rides are open and do have short lines but I only rode a couple. There are so many unique things that you can't do any other time.
