Mickey's Easter Eggstravaganza?

Does anyone think Disney should introduce an event for Easter?

Similar to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but Easter themed. There could be an Easter themed parade with the Easter Bunny, egg and chick decorations everywhere, an Easter egg hunt etc.

I just feel like this is an opportunity they are missing out on. Does anyone think this is a good idea?

I think that that is an amazing idea. I'm surprised Disney hasn't done something like this before. One quick question but would this idea be during the day or at night? Also would it be a separate ticket event or for everyone.

It would be a nice idea to acknowledge the holiday a little more than they do, but as far as a Hard Ticket event that seems fundamentally flawed to me.

Easter is an extremely religious holiday. Obviously Christmas is as well, but in Today's America the Secular aspects have become just as important, if not more important to many people as the sacred aspects. It's difficult to say the same for Easter. And even if you did, the secular aspects of Easter are about Spring, And New Life, and none of that seems very alive and vibrant at night. You want Sunshine and Flowers and Bunny Rabbits, not darkness.

I like the idea of the Easter Party, but I wouldn't mind it going in at Epcot, instead of the Magic Kingdom.

I wish they'd bring a new ticket event into the picture that doesn't involve a holiday. I never knew why they got rid of the Pirate and Princess party...

As 'Tip Top Club' suggested, I would definitely imagine the event being during the day, and therefore it would be for everyone.
Easter is a light, colourful holiday, and I don't think it would work to have a night-time celebration.

I realise this means the proposition of an Easter type festival isn't as attractive to Disney, as it is less profitable than a separate ticket event, however they barely seem to acknowledge Easter at all. They should decorate the whole of Magic Kingdom with amazing eggs, and they could very easily set up a hunt somewhere (possibly in Fantasyland). I think an 'Disney Easter Parade' would also go down really well.

Alternatively they could introduce an additional ticket which allows you to take part in the egg hunts? But maybe that would be too much hassle.

Actually yes Epcot would also be a good place to host it. Perhaps they could do a celebration of all the different types of Easter traditions around the world, in the World Showcase (Easter is probably the holiday which varies the most depending on where you are).

That is an amazing idea! There could be a Mickey Egg Hunt and a Easter Parade! There are already Easter Parades at Tokyo Disneyland, but also this means even more money for Disney, because they will have the nightly parties from 7pm-12am and sell extra tickets so the MK would once again close at 7pm to guests without tickets.
