Mickey's 75 th Birthday Celebration?

:wave: We may be going to WDW next spring and I was wondering....
Is there anything special planned at Walt Disney World for Mickey's 75th Birthday?

I know there are alot of cast members here on this site.... any insights????

A cm told me that their will be a big celebration for Mickey's 75th birthday.

I think there's going to be a pair of Mickey's shorts covering Cinderella's castle, but they will do something in one form or another.

Isn't the 75th Anniversary the same as Animal Kindgom's 5th? AK could use a celebration to get some new attractions..................

Could you see AK hosting a celebration?

Personally I don't think so.
Not enough rides/ areas / things to do with animals.

Plus where does Mickey and animals fit in. Is he a mouse that fits with animals?

WDW all ready has mickey's 75th Birthday merchandise on the shelf in the theme parks and Downtown Disney's -World of Disney shop.I know,because I bought them,lol.

There is a snowglobe,t-shirts,polos,watchs,beachtowles,sweaters,books,bags,mostly adult clothing.You can find a nice assortment at the Disney-MGM studios- Disney Clothers shop on Hollywood Blvd.
