Okay, wanna see something truly scary? Click on the link below. You'll see how Mickey might look like should Comcast ever get its grubby hands on Disney. The image is part of a story about how Comcast taking over Disney is not a good thing in more ways than one.

Its funny you should mention Mickey Mouse and Disney's operations under Comast. In my area, Comcast is advertising their digital service. During the add, they say, "you'll have access to all of your favorite channels and movies" A majority of the images they show are all related to Disney...For example, they show ESPN, Finding Nemo, Bringing Down the House, and Pirates.

Maybe this is a subtle way for Comcast to show shareholders the synergy that will exist if Disney is taken over?

There's a word that I hate just as much as branding. Synergy. Can you just imagine what they would do to the Mouse if they took over? Yuck. And they only want to use Disney as a stepping stone to cable and internet domination. What a bunch of B@#%ards!!

I agree....They will not care at all about Walt's legacy. The one area I fear will be hurt most are the parks. Overall though, I am just sick and tired of worry about it.

I yearn for the days (pre-November 2003) when the biggest worry we had was whether a particular new attraction was going to built at WDW/DL or not. At least then we didn't have to worry whether Disney would even exist as an independent entity!
