I was reading up on the Mickey Mouse Club and it said that the show only lasted for a couple of years in the 1950's, but you always hear how people like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake got started on the Mickey Mouse Club they werent born in the 50's maybe this is a stupid question but I'm confused?

The show was brought back a few times.

The original Mouseketeers are the folks which include Anette Funcello (I really hope i didn't spell it wrong).

Then there was a version in the 70's, it wasn't popular at all. No one remembers it.

Then the "All New Mickey Mouse Club" or "MMC" played on the Disney Channel and taped at Disney MGM Studios. That's where Justin and Britney came from, and where Jessica Simpson really wanted a job.

I remember years ago when Britney Spears and the rest of those of those pop stars (back when they were normal :)) when they were just coming out, they had this whole weekend of showing those '90s episodes of the Mickey Mouse Club. But for some reason Disney never showed the epidsodes ever again.

I remember also, years ago on the Disney Channel, they would show the very old '50s episodes of the Mickey Mouse Club at around 12:30 at night after the old Zorro episodes during the special segment of Vault Disney. :)
