You have to ask on the ship. There’s no posted schedule or guarantee. I believe it’s usually on the last sea day on 4+ night sailings.

This has been when they've been available, from my last 2 cruise experiences.

I don't know when they do it but the Mickey Churro Waffles are definitely announced.

The only time I've had them be announced was at the end of dinner, the evening prior to their availability, on my most recent cruise.

As long as they aren't overcooked, they are delicious!!

Why dont they have these everyday? Churrro waffles are awesome. The other mickey waffles are like cardboard.
They are a special treat. You ruin any sense of special if you offer them every day, not to mention increase your food costs.

And… You realize they are the exact same waffles, just coated with cinnamon sugar?

We should be able to decide which days to have them. Not be treated like a child by disney who says i can only have them on a specific day as a treat. Im not 3 years old. They arent the exact same waffles covered in sugar. They are completely different. Have a look at them. Ones yellow and the others brown for starters. Ones inside has no taste. The other does.

And how does it increase food costs?

I think it’s just to keep them as a special treat for everyone, including adults. I don’t know about you, but I kinda turn 3 when I’m at Disney ;)

I doubt cost is a significant factor given the relatively inexpensive ingredients; they do have a ton of sugar though.
