D23 just announced that Disneyland will be hosting a birthday party cavalcade for Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday on November 18, and the World's Biggest Mouse Party will be coming to Disneyland Resort in 2019.
You mean "(Hey Ra Ra Ra) Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse".So no Lucasfilm summer in 2019 but instead Mickey Mouse party all year long? Sign me up, baby. Let's get that American flag bunting back up on Main Street USA and sing the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song all the way down.

Well, as long as there's American flag bunting back up on Main Street I can dig it.I have a feeling it won't last the entire year. It'll probably end in spring. The exhibit they have going up in NYC only goes from November 8th 2018 - February 10th 2019.
So it'll probably still be a SW:GE summer.
1st half of 2019 Mickey Mouse!
2nd half of 2019 SW:GE!
It'll be a busy year.
The exhibit will be touring throughout the year, presumably. The FAQ implies that the exhibit will appear elsewhere after NYC.I have a feeling it won't last the entire year. It'll probably end in spring. The exhibit they have going up in NYC only goes from November 8th 2018 - February 10th 2019.

Maybe, but that doesn't indicate it will be a year long thing at the parks. 2019 has too many other things going on at the parks, namely SW:GE on both coasts. The exhibit will be touring throughout the year, presumably. The FAQ implies that the exhibit will appear elsewhere after NYC.
Yes, I was only talking about the exhibit. Most likely the "World's Biggest Mouse Party" announcement is intentionally vague.Maybe, but that doesn't indicate it will be a year long thing at the parks. 2019 has too many other things going on at the parks, namely SW:GE on both coasts.
As much as it's all about Mickey......What about Minnie? She premiered with Mickey in Steamboat Willie...Why not Celebrate both of them.

IT'S THE FRIED CHICKEN CELEBRATION ALL OVER AGAINI wouldn't be surprised if the "World's Biggest Mouse Party" at the parks was a weekend long celebration over a holiday weekend, say Memorial Day weekend.

This celebration would have been a great excuse for a new Disneyland daytime parade.
