Mickey balloons

Just wondering, how do people get those double balloons, (clear balloon with a Mickey head balloon inside it) on the planes to take them home? This is a serious question, as my daughter wants one next time we go, which will be in May.

Although I'd like to know the answer(s), I can't offer assistance because we don't take them home. We just leave them there because we don't know if we're allowed to take them on the plane and/or if they would survive the plane ride with the change in pressure?

As far as I know - TSA will not allow them past checkpoint. I honestly have never seen someone with a balloon in the airport. I have heard of people deflating them then taking them to the party store and asking them to refill it.

From what I have read over the years, people buy a balloon on the first day, and then on their last day they give it away to another child who has just arrived at the resort check in desk. Also you can carefully deflate it and then take it to a party supply store and they will refill it with helium for you.

We always find a family checking in and give them our balloons as we depart.

One year our balloon was deflating and were told by cm to bring it to balloon person and they will give you new one or blow it up again. Can't remember which one. we were leaving soon so didn't want to bother. So by the end of our trip we gave to somebody that just arrived and told them to go to balloon person.

My daughter has taken them on a plane before but it was years ago when she was like 5 and she is 1 now. We were just told to keep it under the seat and to make sure it was slightly deflated as it will inflate some on the plane, but like I said that was ten years ago.

I really am not a fan of these one's being inside the other balloon..I remember when they weren't with them...

It would be nice if they sold Unflated WDW Mouse Head Balloons for sale...But, the closest thing is these Pre-Package versions...

I'd say carefully deflate and bring it home. I've always loved these balloons! When I was a child it was just the Mickey ears, no clear balloon. Also handing your balloon off to someone when your leaving is such a nice idea I can just imagine a little ones face lighting up
