Mickey and Minnie's Wedding of Dreams Promotion

Hi everybody,

This maybe a silly idea and I know they scrapped that idea years ago, but, after seeing this: http://jimhillmedia.com/editor_in_c...hat-mickey-amp-minnie-almost-got-married.aspx I thought it'll be fun to think of what happens if Mickey and Minnie are getting married at Disneyland as a summer promotion. I would called it Mickey and Minnie's Wedding of Dreams. This will include a daily parade with Disney characters from animated features from Snow White to Aladdin bringing gifts to the married couple, but I need ideas how the parade will work.

Then, there will be a nighttime ceremony where Mickey and Minnie get married in front of the Sleeping Beauty's castle with Pluto as the ring bearer, Donald and Goofy jostling as Mickey's Best Man but decided to make Mickey's Best Men, Horace Horsecollar Chip, and Dale as the Groomsmen, Daisy Duck, Gadget, and Clarabelle as the bride maids, and the hippos from Fantasia as the flower girls. When Mickey and Minnie kiss as mouse and wife, that'll signal a nightly fireworks finale.

And maybe they'll do a tv special of Mickey and Minnie getting married. This promotion takes place in 1993.

I know it's a controversial idea, but sometimes I couldn't help but wonder if Mickey and Minnie got married. Also, I need to figure out how Mickey and Minnie's Wedding daily parade would of look like. Any ideas?

Yes
I appreciate the likes, thanks, but I'm still can't figure it out how the parade would look like.
First off, while I understand why Disney didn't go through this promotion, I've always loved the idea of it. And I think you pull it off really well!

As far as the parade goes, I'd theme each float around a different Disney couple. You could do nearly all the princesses. Maybe Simba and Nala. Or Jack Skeleton and Salley. Or Mary Poppins and Burt. Basically, throw I a couple non-princess floats for variety.

I think the real question is would M&M sleep in the same bed or separate ones like tv shows from the 50's and 60's like I love lucy and the dick van show. :)
Edit: darn censor. DVD are his initials. Guess should have just said Burt from MP.

In all seriousness, instead of it being all the characters bringing gifts, since the "wedding" is that night, maybe the floats are all of the wedding prep and guests arriving for the wedding? For instance the mice from cinderlla making minnie's dress, donald/goofy/chip/dale in a messy kitchen float making the cake, aladdin/jasmine arriving via magic carpet, an AIW float with the rabbit telling everyone (alice, hatter, etc) they'll be late and tweedledee/tweedledum fighting over wrapping the present, etc.

You know what? That's probably a better idea. Thank you.
