Mickey and Friends Blu-Ray set (open brainstorming)

Well, between the end of Epic Mickey and Mickey Mouse's 85th anniversary this year (along with the end of the Walt Disney Treasures line), I thought something should be done with the studios' classic line of shorts in another Treasures-type line, but on Blu-Ray alongside the Diamond Edition line, something like how the Platinum Edition line went side-by-side with the Treasures line. It will be a five-volume set, which will feature Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and all the other Disney characters' shorts on Blu-Ray. Here's my idea:

  1. Mickey Mouse
  2. Donald Duck
  3. Goofy and Pluto
  4. Silly Symphonies and Rare Rarities
  5. The Roaring '20s (comprised of Laugh-O-Grams, Alice Comedies and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit)

As you can see, I combined the Goofy and Pluto shorts into one set (since each had roughly 50 shorts each) and the Silly Symphonies and "special cartoons" into another, because they weren't that dissimilar from them. It's like getting several short serieses for the price of one. Only Mickey and Donald, as you can see, have their own special sets because they each have well over a hundred shorts to their names by themselves. And there will be brand-new bonus items as well for each set.

First up, I'll do Mickey, because he is the main reason I'm doing this thread, after all.

Thoughts so far?

WOW I totally missed that (but just found the thread about it). I got EM2 but honestly haven't played it much. It's rather funny however that it didn't do as well as they hoped so they closed the studio entirely.
It wasn't just that. Did you see the earnings report?

The studio closed so it looks like it.

Unfortunately, that's what happened.

I just want some good cartoons on blu ray!

For the Mickey Blu-Ray, we will have all Mickey shorts put up, obviously. For "Clock Cleaners", two things are will improve on the original Treasures release. First and most obvious, undone will be the strange bit of self-censorship applied that turned Donald's "Says who?" (evidently mistaken for a different two-syllable, two-word phrase) into "Aw shucks" (complete with random dog barking and the spring's then non-sensical reply "Says I") and muddled his subsequent insult. Second, the original studio and title card replaced by more modern ones are restored.

The same thing will be applied to "The Band Concert", which had original title cards of its own that had long since been replaced. They, too, will be restored for this release. Here's what they look like:

I have no idea, however, of how many shorts one Blu-Ray can hold at a time, as opposed to a regular DVD. Can anyone help me here with this? I'd hate to have to do this alone.
