Hello everyone!

My wife and I have been to WDW several times during Christmas/New Year's, but never early enough to catch Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). This year, we will be arriving at WDW on December 18th. With MVMCP on the 19th and 20th, we have the opportunity to finally attend!

We have heard many great things about this event. So we were wondering ... should we attend both nights? All opinions are welcome.

Regards,
Bobster.

We go every year. One night is good. Just take advantage and stay until they throw you out. Catch the parade and the special fireworks, even if you have to skip a ride or 2.

We went in 1999 and enjoyed it so much we went again last year. Besides all the special shows and stuff, you can enjoy the rides with a minimal wait. I'm not sure if they will still do it this year, but previously they have had two parades. See the second one and enjoy shows and rides until the fireworks. I would have to agree though that one night is probably sufficient.

I've been once a year for the last three years, and I can only say GO :)
What with the snow on Main Street, the parades, the short lines on the rides - great in the dark - the fireworks, the 'free' photos, and all, it's a great night.
Also, if you haven't been, try and get to MGM to see the Osborne Lights - they're awesome!

Last year we stayed at the Poly and skipped the party since our we had our then 8 month old baby with us (next time we are not going to skip it.) Anyway if you do not attened the party the view of the fireworks is great from Poly. For us it was nice because there was a party almost every night, meaning fireworks.

Is it really on the 19th & 20th??:(

They do it almost every weekend of December, and finish right before Christmas weekend. Because the crowds start the week of Christmas on through New Years they can't just close the park. They just keep it open till midnight. This is what I remember.

Definately go. But one night should do it for you. It's like nothing you've ever experienced. It really puts me in the Chrismas spirit. I'm goin again this year. (December 3rd...97 days!)
