Okay, it may be suicide for a junior member to post this, but I am really curious as to what people think of Eisner. So indulge my curiousity, that way I can find out if I'm the only one who is getting frustrated by the way he is running the company.

I personally feel that Eisner is killing the dream. Eisner (and Roy, to an extent) both seem to be too greedy to run the company. I may be naive, but I thought that Walt did this for the KIDS... not the money. Disney is a place to be happy, a wonderful land of magic and make-believe. So many people dont go now because they feel like they are getting ripped off.

And do NOT get me started on all these stupid sequels to the classics:mad:    . I was okay with sequels to Pocohantis for historical reasons, and The Lion King was fine because that was unique in the first place. But Peter Pan, Cinderella, and Hugo's Hunchback... these sequels just so me that Eisner has forgotten why Disney was started in the first place.

Please post and tell me if I'm off base with this...

While I was working, supposedly Eisner said that Monkeys could do my job. Also he collects millions of dollars in bonuses, why doesn't he put the money back into the parks and the people who make it the happy place that it is.

Umm... just a stab in the dark but perhaps because he, like you and me, works for a profit. I mean, get real, he is the CEO of one of the largest companies on earth. That comes with a lot of responsibility and if you think he is getting paid too much to do his job, try and find someone else who is just as qualified to fill the position for much less. It's worth noting that when he gets his big bonuses, that means the company is already doing well and for the record, he didn't receive a bonus this year at all and his income as a result was well below the million mark. When the company does well he gets paid well, when it doesn't he doesn't. I don't exactly think that is unfair considering the buck stops with him and ultimately he is the person responsible for how much money this multi-billion dollar empire makes and looses each year.
