I read where Eisner and Peter Rummell are going to speak in celebration on nov. 2 at celebration health. I guess he still has some interests here? Does anyone think there is a chance he could return to Disney?

Michael Eisner will be here November 2, 2016. And in fact Disney/the Celebration Company continue their control over the town in every way they choose to. There is a massive amount of real estate still to be sold, most of it commercial in nature however more residences will be built, most significantly and Island Village. They are FAR from gone.

Disney is no longer involved in The Celebration Company. This is a change that occurred over a decade ago. Because of how Celebration was legally organized, Disney was always going to have to eventually step aside but ended up doing so earlier than originally planned. One of the most notable results of Disney leaving was the closing of the AMC movie theater which was always a sort of quid pro quo for maintaining the Pleasure Island theater.

My goodness, I have several thousand pages of documents which can explain how that is simply not true. The AMC theater closure had to do with a reorganization under bankruptcy-they continue to pay $16,000 a month through 2021.
We deal with Disney everyday, they have control over every non-residential property, and still have a lot of dirt to sell. The Disney controlled Celebration Non-Residential Association is in active mediation right now with owners. Do you live here?
