We totally agree! MGM is awesome but Magic Kingdom is simply magical & brings the most memories back from childhood. :)

Javy&Christie,

We had a BLAST, since I was a bit hurt, I couldn't walk much so we used a wheelchair. No wonder people take advantage of it. For some rides we just left it outside and walked through the ride, but for others we used the wheelchair access and it just rocked. Friday we got there a bit late so we just got a bus and monorail to Contemporary to eat, BUT the steakhouse was closed (shucks!) Anyway, we had those yummy Disney Chicken strips then went back to our hotel and crashed. woke up early as hell at 6:30, we were still full from last night so skipped breakfast and headed to MGM. There I got a FASTPASS for ToT and went to RRC line, got on once and the guy at the departure section let us stay on for a second ride ( too cool). After that I rode ToT (since Mayi hates drops) alone. walked around MGM for awhile, did the soundstage thing and muppets, then took off.

From there we hopped over to Epcot at around 1:00, we rode Spaceship Earth, then Body Wars, then we went to have dinner at Alfredo's at 4:00. YUMMY!!! Then we hopped over to MK and had a great time, went directly to PoC, got on that pretty quickly cause the first show of Spectromagic was on, then we headed to HM, then SM. After all that we went to the ice cream shop on Main street and got some sundays to watch Spectromagic. After that we got on the bus and went back to sleep.

Finally we woke up on Sunday early again ( we lost a damn hour due to that daylight savings crap) 6:30. We headed to AK and it still wasn't open. Cool, we got to go in early again. So we went right to Primeval Whirl, it was great, I really don't see why everybody is complaining about this ride, it was very fun. Anyway we pretty much did everything in AK then left right around 2:00, went to Downtown Disney for some shopping then headed home. It was lotsa fun. Gonna go see your thread on how your trip went. Hope it was as fun as mine, tour and all.:king: :sohappy:

I think Magic Kingdom is the best . We spend the most time there . Just got back from Disney on 4-3-2002. Great time!

I have the same problem between mgm and mk.
On one hand MK is more of what people expect from Disneyworld, It epitomizes Disney and nostalgia

On the other hand, MGM is new and exciting. Great thrill rides with a Disney twist. . . Hard call

But I say. . . . uuuuuhhhh MGMK :D :D

Same prob here, but if I had to choose I'd say both. Start off the day at MGM, do everything you like then hop over to MK and spend the rest of the day and night there. MK at night is truly beautiful and spectacular. Of both MK for sure though!!!:o

All the parks are wonderful. I could never go to Disney World and skip any of the parks. They are all Great. I like MGM< but Magic Kingdom is the Best!! I get a feeling at Magic Kingdom that i get nowhere else on earth. You can cast your cares away and be a kid again. You can't beat that!

I can't understand how there are people that go some days to Disney and doesn't visit Magic Kingdom. It's like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower. Magic Kingdom is a must in every itinerary. It's what Disney is about. You don't experience Disney until you experience MK.

I feel that the scenery of AK is worth the price of admission. All the detail in every corner of the park is truely incredible. Every crack in the sidewalk just goes to show how much detail they put in to that park.

MGM has a lot of classic movies in it and it sure is fun to be at but Magic Kingdom has a greater selection of rides, with a huge range too. Whether it's Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean, or even Splash Mountain. All rides just fit in which give the Disney theme to it. Whether you're 3 or 38 years old, you can still participate in any ride and fully enjoy it.
