Yesterday (4/28) I was at both MK and MGM. MK was almost empty- Space was at less than a half-hour line the whole morning and early afternoon.

MGM was nuts- they even extended park hours and added another Fantasmic. RNRC was at 90 mins, ToT at 70 mins. It was crazy!

We visited both of those parks on Thursday 19th April and found it to be the other way around. We had minimal waits for MGM attractions but for MK there was a wait of over 30 mins for POTC and 110 mins for Splash!!!! Fastpass came in handy on that day!

odd, every time ive been to mgm, ToT has had a much longer line than RNRC.

I'll third the ToT RnRC wait time comments; RnRC has had longer waits each time I've been to MGM--although they both are usually under 40 minutes.

every time I have gone, I've always seen the exact opposite--last summer, ToT was often right around 40 or 50 minutes by mid-day while RnRC would be around 80 or 90 minutes.

I was there yesterday as well... it was hellish.

45 minutes before the first Fantasmic, and it was already standing room only. I turned around and left.

did many of the visitors seem to be in their late teens/early 20s? Many universities have just ended or are ending now so that could have caused the busy times ?

Yesterday was a designated tour date for many schools- Universal and Islands of Adventure were the same way yesterday.

Epcot was pretty busy, but not uncomfortable. Monorails coming from MK-area were packed full of people all night. They turned the parade route lights on around World Showcase.

While I'm thinking about it, whoever was running the RNRC queue was doing an awful job. Fastpass return backed up like crazy, and singles barely moved. We were estimated at a half-hour for singles, it ended up being more than double that.

wouldn't it be nice if mgm had around 5 new attractions to accomodate all these guests? a water ride, a rollercoaster in the back of the park, a dark ride, etc...

You wanna solve MGM's problems 3 words, Indiana Jones Adventure. That would go a long way to making that park better quality and capacity wise.

MGM has gone astray for far too long for any single ride to solve its problems. They would need to spend about as much as Universal is rumored to be spending on its Harry Potter land, since MGM has stagnated for about as long as IoA (and it didn't have as many rides as IoA to begin with).
