MGM Backlot Tour

I have a question about the Backlot Tour at Mgm. Last time I was there (1998) the Backlot Tour closed earlier than the rest of the park. It closed at 5 pm I think. I am going back this Spring, and I was wondering if the Backlot Tour still closed early and if so, what time does it close?

I know it closes at 5 p.m. throughout part of Nov., all of December and part of Jan. because of the Osbourne lights being back there. Not sure about the rest of the year though.

Oh, yeah...last time I was there was during the Christmas season....I didn't even think about the light display...you're probably right.

If I remember right the Backlot tour does close early around dusk or so all year round. It is because they dont have show lighting on many things back there so you would not really see much after dusk.
