I am going down to Disney next week and I was wondering if anyone has been on the Animation tour since they closed it the last time I was there? What has been added?

The tour has been redone entirely.

The preshow takes place in a giant animation room - with hundreds of little odds and ends everywhere and two giant, circular screens. A host narrates the attraction fron an animator's bench, and, directly above the host, Mushu pops in to discuss animation. No signs of the previous preshow are existant, minus the seats.

The next part that's been altered is the animator area - THERE ARE NO ANIMATORS! They have been laid off, but don't try getting that from the Cast Members. They will respond with, "They are on a break."

There is no great finale to the show. Instead, guests are sent to an optional "Animator's Academy." There, the finale film has been replaced by a giant studio where guests can learn how to draw Disney characters. It's very fun, but the attraction now lacks a solid conclusion.
