San Angel Inn is my favorite restaraunt at Epcot! I love everything about it...the cool nighttime setting of Mexico, the erupting volcano, and yes, the boat ride!!! What's everyone else's favorite thing about this restaraunt?:D

BTW: When I said I liked the boat ride I didn't mean that I've ridden it just that I like to watch the people on the ride while I eat! Can you tell? I also wrote this reply so I could add to my post points...I want to be earning my ears soon!!!

No, the food is not too spicy... but the sauces could be! Ask for "habanero chile" (hopefully they will have some) and try the hottest one in Mexico! They have a chart during Food and Wine Festival and that one is ranked number one as the hottest one. It is true. It is original from my area of Mexico and it is very hot, but unlike jalapeño and others, this one is totally safe for your stomach, but it is just hard on your tongue and throat! :D

If you ever burn your tongue with a pepper (at least with habanero), the best remedy is to place a hot corn tortilla (or bread) on it. Not too hot to burn you more, of course... but it´s a popular remedy here that seems to work. hehe :animwink:

I´m impressed with your husband! I have some friends who can do that too... not me! I don´t eat too many peppers, I like habanero with certain meals and jalapeños in my sandwiches!

Have you tried the stuffed jalapeños at TGI Friday´s? They are sooo good! :slurp:

I absolutely love that Mexican Pavilion. I love the way that everything is decorated exactly like it's supposed to be. This goes for all the countries in Epcot. It's amazing how perfectly in custom everything is. But definlately the Mexican one is one of my favorites. Try the nachos and pina coladas! they are the best:sohappy:

I love spicy food, but last time at Bahama Breeze the jerk chicken, made my mouth on fire, so the sweet waitress brought me a shot glass of milk :D -Trav

san angel inn

San Angel is my favorite romantic restaurant at WDW. It's so easy to forget the real world when it's night-time and we're watching a pyramid glow...but waaah! We're not eating there this next trip.:( Definitely next trip.
