I'm going to make a new cookie for Christmas, Filled Meringue. Very good, but do any of you know how to store meringue? I'm going to make them last, but it will still be 2 weeks before
Christmas. Any ideas what a should do?:veryconfu

Totally cooled cookies can be stored for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container. I would make them as close to Christmas as possible to assure their freshness. I've never kept them more than a few days though.

Thanks tigsmom. I'll make them as late as possible. That last week before Christmas is always a busy one. Those cookies are really good so maybe they won't last more than a few days. They're filled with a cream cheese and white chocolate mixture.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sounds good! I have to agree with Mad though - store them in an airtight container, but be sure that they're totally cooled or they'll end up chewy and mushy...
