Merchandise card

has anyone heard about this merchandise card that if you pay $395 you get $500 pay $445 get $600 pay $695 get $1000? I saw it on another website but I feel more comfortable getting info from here so if anyone has any info on this it would be wonderful! Thank you for any info you can provide!!!

In concept that sounds like a great idea. I wouldn't mind having one. I'll be curious to see what is found, I leave in 3 days and 21 hours :wave: :sohappy: :wave:

I know I am wondering if you can use it for ride photos or meal photos. Also people have said you need a pin code and then I saw someone say no they dont ask for a code. Please if anyone has used one or knows more info please please let us know. Thank you!!!

My grocery store did that for a few months last year....the bigger the card the more bonus they gave....it was a no brainer if you pretty much only shop there anyhow to buy ahead....Can't really see Disney doing this but who knows...

Im dying to get this email. I been checking my email through out the last couple of days.:fork: I have been looking at the "other" site for the last couple of days just for the info. Most ppl say you need the pin :zipit:. Arrgh I want that pin.:p

Hey kitten you you get the pin which card would you buy, 500, 600, or 1000?

I'm wondering whether these are mailed to people who've booked rack rate vacations, or just random people with or without reservations....I also wonder if you have a pin code package and get this can you do both???

I'd love this code...I also wonder if you can use it on food...

From what I read about it ppl who book through disney has recieved the pin and you cant not buy food with this card, however you can buy snacks from the store that sell soveriners.
There has been some issue with guest asking if they could buy a refillable mug at the resort and the cms have been giving conficting answers to that.
Also you can only use this card at disney locations. PPL have not be able to use the card at the WS and at those pick a pearl locations throughout the property.

I am going for the $1000 I am a girl who loves to shop!!! Plus we do have a big family trip planed for 2010 so if there is any left over I will have some spending money for that trip!!!!

I called disney to ask about it and they did say at this time you need a pin but they had very little info on what is considered merchandise. I asked about ride photos and meal photos and she said she didnt know that they dont specify anything about photos just that it must be merchandise.

After doing some research I learned that people with MYW pkgs got the offer around 20 days before their trip and it needed to be purchased no later then a week before. Also it was included in the pkg materials at check-in, not mailed.

I'd love to get one....

I really want that on too. But my family might give me a little flack about it, so I might get (if I get the pin) the 600 one.
If you get one make sure it doesnt have an experation date on it. I read some ppl gotten it but they had an experation date of this year, but not everyone did and they are planning to save them for next year

Thank you for that tip I will ask about experation date! I know I will get some flack too :lookaroun but what one doesnt know wont hurt him :ROFLOL: I have been putting away spending money for a while. I am hoping to get an email too 54 days till I am home again!!!!
