Can someone fill me in on what this Memory Maker is? I've never heard of this until right now.

@blueboxdoctor

Memory maker is a photo package that you can purchase from Disney. Any ride photos or videos, any photos that CMs take of you or anyone listed in your group, and special Magic Moment photos that CMs take will be available to you in an online account. The cost is $169 pre purchase and $199 at the gate. Is it worth it? WEll that all depends on your point of view. Here is a site that explains it ..

can you get ride videos if you do not have magic bands? We only have the card tickets

I believe that the ride videos require the long range scanning/reading ability that the bands offer but the cards do not. For instance, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train doesn't have anyway to claim your picture except through the band being scanned by the ride.

There is a way around that to still get your videos and pictures without a MB etc. Just remember/make note what time of day, date of day, and what you were wearing on any rides you want and you call the Photopass phone number and have them search for your video or picture. Have friends that had to do that and worked like a charm. They found them relatively easily. :)

Thanks for the reply, I can see how this could be pretty convenient. I don't think it's really for me, but that's probably because I'm used to bringing a camera or two or three, so the whole family gets involved in taking pictures (plus I just got a new DSLR so that should make the next trip pretty fun).
