Memory maker.. Band & card.. Can we use both?

My dh and I just got our memory maker card in the mail... I went ahead and linked the card to my magic band for our trip In 20 days but here's my question...can we still use the card as well? I'm wondering because there's some moment where I know my dh will be without me and he may want a picture also so I was just thinking he could use he card itself...


We are both linked to my MDE account (him listed as a family member)... Could he have his band scanned and have it pop up on our memory maker site??

Oh that would be even better than making him tote the card around.. I just assumed my band was the only one linked to it since it's "assigned" to mine
