Memorial weekend

We are going May 21st to June 4th. Previously we have been the first 2 weeks of May and have found it busy but OK. Does anyone know if it is busier at the end of the month>

Also excuse my ignorance but when is memorial weekend? What is it? Is it a bank holiday and do more people head towards the parks that weekend? We are just wondering if we may have a day or two away from the parks at this time. - we are there for 14 nights so are planning on a few down days.

Are there any good sales on around this time too? - sorry am a shopaholic as well as a disneyholic

Memorial Day is Monday, May 28, 2018.
And yes, the parks will probably be very busy that three day weekend.
Be sure and wave at us your second week. We will be there May 29 - June 4.
