Memorial Day Weekend

We just booked for Memorial Day weekend. I know it will be crazy just because of the holiday, but wanted to ask just how bad the crowds really are. Also, we will be staying at AKL savannah view. Any good or bad experiences with AKL?

I'm staying at the Coronado S. during Memorial Day Weekend. I know the crowds are pretty harsh, but not compared to other major holidays or breaks. I have never stayed at AKL but I have been in it....it's sooo beautiful! Wanna switch reservations??:lookaroun

I go to disney every memorial weekend for one reason...to laugh. the crowds at the parks(MK and MGM definatly).
they are going everywhere bumping into everyone and everything. IMHO this is the thrid most crowded holiday(behind christmas and fourth of july). because SCHOOLS OUT. kids and families try to take there vacations every to disney to beat the heat. because may is a littler cooler than july june and august.

well we will hit the holiday during our ten day trip...but we will deal with it...plan on skipping all the parks on Memorial day..ten days we will need some day off to lay around the pool/beach/ etc...just take a cheery attitude..the more the merrier right?? If you have kids make sure you pack plenty of patience for the adults..nothing worse then seeing a little kid getting yelled at at disney! LOL~

I've been during Memorial Day for the last four years. It's crowded, but nothing like Christmas or Spring Break. Southern schools are usually out by the end of May but for the most part, kids are still in school.
Have a great trip! I'll be there on the 26th!

We go that weekend every year too. It's not unbearably crowded like Christmas/Thanksgiving.

I'll be there May 24th for 10 nights. AKL night 1 and then Polynesian for the next 9.
