How does someone achieve the different levels of membership i.e. fron "New Here" to "Senior Member" etc. I've been on the boards since 2003 but it still says "New Here".

Actually, the long membership and low post count just mean you are not a post count total attention seeker - no problem with that
If you have posted in Chit Chat, you will find those posts don't count to the total, but most everything else will add to the total.
