Meal Vouchers

I am using meal Vouchers for the 1st time for my trip......microconn said:
You have to belong to the Disney Club...if you do so..you are allowed to buy meal vouchers...they include drinks, dessert, meal, and a salad or soup I believe.
It is 11.00 four any counter service meal
and 31.00 for just about any sit down restaraunt as long as it's for lunch and not dinner.

If you are in Animal Kingdom they have a certifiacte you can buy at Restaurantosaurus, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari orTusker House:
Age 12 & up $11.99, age 3-11 $5.99 .
There are three vouchers on it. The first lets you order an entree and beverage. The other two may be used at other times of the day. One for a box of popcorn or and ice cream (any of the ones from the carts) and the other for a bottle of soda or water.

My husband went to Hotwire Savings Club on the net and purchased some meal certificates. It's $7.50 to join, but right now I believe they are running a special. It's been awhile though since my husband went to the site. On the back of the tickets it shows the restaurants that it is good for. It will be our first time in September to try this, but from what he has read he believes it will be a good deal, especially at some the quick and casual restaurants, such as Beaches and Cream and Pepper Market. There are many restaurants listed. For example, the quick and casual coupon was $11.50 and it is good for one meal combo (entree, side dish and non-alcoholic beverage) and one dessert. That includes tax and tip. He also got a vacation kingdom lunch ticket that is good for an appetizer, entree, beverage and dessert for $31.00. It's also good at several locations. We are planning on using this at Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch. Again, we haven't done this yet, so I would hate to give bad advice, but hopefully it is something that will prove to save some money. He got the idea to do this from Ebay.

Don't buy the vouchers off of eBay, not because they may not be valid, but because they are ridiculously expensive there.
I like the vouchers - I don't use the Q&C's because I don't generally like the desserts at counter service, and I don't find the value in them.
The VKL's, which are $31, are really nice for me. I schedule a PS at someplace like Le Cellier or the Concourse steakhouse and use them there. The sharing policy is also very liberal, from what I hear - I know families that use like two vouchers for two parents and two children and end up with a great value and plenty of food.
For me, I make it my main meal of the day - and usually just have a snack at night I am so full. It's so nice to be able to order off the menu without thinking about price - it's a great indulgence.

Well, what can i say when i visited in December, we were asked to go and sit in at a DVC, we had an interview and all was discussed.
AS a result of this once we had finished they handed us some vouchers for a free meal.
Meaning that different places within MK were available, i can remember going and spending about $25 each you get a soup, mail meal, derset and drink!
WOW 2 people $50.......
No bad for an hours work!
