Do you have to buy the meal plan along with your room? I'm trying to plan a trip, and there is a discount for AAA members, but only for a room. what i was wondering is if I can get a room for the AAA rate and then seperately get park tickets and the meal plan? thanks

The meal plan can only be purchased with a room/ticket package or by DVC members.

I think you should be able to add tickets and DDP to the AAA discounted room, I'd call AAA and ask them.

The Disney Dining Plan is not sold separately. Is part of the Magic Your Way Plus Dine vacation package that includes a room at a Disney owned and operated Resort, a Magic Your Way Ticket of your choice, and the dinning plan for the length of your stay. Everyone in the room must choose the same package and ticket options.

This package is available with a AAA discount offer if booked directly with a AAA Travel Agent. Call your local AAA office to get a package quote.

We used AAA and got a discount on everything. I think it was around 15%. We got a Magic Your Way Plus Dine package.

I would definately do the dining plan. It will save you A LOT of cash, and it is available for an AAA discount!
