McDonalds on I-Drive Question

Hello all.

I was wondering if all you folks local to Orlando can answer an odd question.
Currently, the McDonald's on Internation Drive sits with its chip packet facing Internation Drive itself.
My Mom swears blind that the chips used to be on the opposite side of the building.
Does anyone have any photos of this particular McDonalds that would prove one was or the other? Or does anyone know?

Why, thank you kind sirs!

What's a chip packet? ;) Just kidding, I'm 99% sure they've always faced the road. That's the focal point of the building.

Ergh! Sorry, never thought. Fry packet? Hehe. I'm sure looking at the building, it's age, it hasn't moved. It's just the petrol station that's moved.

Ok thanks, I'll take a look. What I'm after is older pictures, does that show that too? I know how it looks now, but she swears that back in the 90's it used to be the opposite side, but I don't see how. She also thinks the fry packet used to be 3D, but I doubt that also. I remember her telling me about the fry packet and thinking WOW, and when we turned up it was flat and I was like... oh... great.

But thanks anyway! I'll look into it/.

Download Google Earth (not google maps you find online) Once you locate the restaurant you can go back through past pictures. If it is the one I am thinking of the address is 6875 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL. From what I can tell, the Giant fry box has been on both sides of the building.

Is she possibly thinking of the McD's on W. Buena Drive near the All-Stars? They did have a 3-D fry packet, burger and soda cup as the outer corner of their building. They remodeled to the new generic McD's around 2007. (?)

Definitely not. I don't think we've ever been to that part of Disney. She's thinking of the I-Drive one for sure. Unless she's seen a picture of of that one and got confused? I'm not sure.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

It's been that way since at least the late 90s. Can't imagine it ever fronted onto I-Drive, that gas station has seemingly been there for ever.

There is a similar one on Kirkman Road, maybe she's confusing the two?
