Hello all. I'm planning a trip to WDW in May for our family of 4 and was hoping you good folks could help me pick the days. We can go essentially anytime in the 1st 3weeks of May. I was thinking of a Wed to Tues trip for the cheap airfares, but I'm open to ideas. Like everyone else, I'd like the least crowded times. As a long time forum follower (not as closely recently as in the past though), I know there's no longer any "off-season." Specifically, do you guys know of any large groups that visit during that time? For example, I seem to recall tons of cheerleaders running around during a previous trip around the same time of year. Do you know the dates for them? Any other groups?

Also, my aunt is an AP. Can she book a hotel room for me at the AP price or does she need to be going as well?

Touring Plans shows a general average crowd level of 4/5 throughout May with the exception of an uptick around Mother's Day and again starting on the 25th through Memorial Day.

Also, my aunt is an AP. Can she book a hotel room for me at the AP price or does she need to be going as well?

Passholders cannot book rooms at the AP rate for others, only for themselves.
