How is it?

We are staying at Coronado in June and thought we would try it. I haven't heard much about it here in the board.

Any thoughts?

I stayed at Coronado often, I've never eaten there because I've read that is was just okay to not good at all. But then again people said Pepper Market wasn't good either and I'd loved it for breakfast and lunch. I do believe a few sites have reviews with pictures, disneyfoodblog for sure, check tripadvisor too.

We stayed at the Coronado in 2009 & dined at the Maya Grill on that trip. We had a really nice meal there. The food probably wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. Sometimes its just really nice to have a quiet meal at your resort. That's what we were going for & what we accomplished. The Pepper Market is good, but it's a food court & noisy.

Maya Grill was Ok I have eaten there twice. The first time I went I enjoyed it second time not so much. They do however, have a margarita sampler. Pepper Market is no longer a food court it was converted to a buffet stying dining over a year ago. The food there is also nothing to write home about standard breakfast and buffet type items, carving station etc...

Maya Grill has the best Mexican food of all the Disney properties by far. We stayed at CS on our last visit and so we booked Maya Grill. It will now be one of our must do's every visit from here on out. Loved it. Taquina jelly shots for everyone upon sitting down. It was great. It puts the Mexican restaurants in Epcot to shame.

I've eaten there 3 times and all good experiences. Once for breakfast and it was great. They don't serve breakfast as of last year I believe. Food is very good. Nice atmosphere too.

I thought they had stopped the buffet at the Pepper Market? Please say it is still going, I love Mexican food and the thought of being able to gorge myself on everything on offer just seems too good to true.

Hmmmm maybe I may rethink this one. It is a little costly and since we are paying out of pocket. I will keep it for now I guess. Maybe we should try to go to beaches and cream that night.
