Hi All,

Planning a trip the first week in May and wondering how much busier than the rest of the week it will be at Hollywood Studios on the 4th (Star Wars Day.) In 2025 it will be on a Sunday. I'm thinking we should avoid HS that day. Will it also be busy Saturday or might that be safe?

This is from AI, hope this helps:
May 4th is a special day for Star Wars fans at Disney's Hollywood Studios and is typically very crowded. However, some say that the least crowded times of day at Magic Kingdom are before 2 PM. Lines are usually the longest between 1 and 2 PM, and most attractions have long lines between 10 and 11:30 AM.

Hope you have a wonderful and very special time at Disney World! Take care and have a wonderful day!

DS and I were at DHS the first year when it began. It was during the “ prime “ of SW. We went again after SWL was built up. At that time the May the 4 th be with you gatherings were popular and at its height. The last time DS went ( and this was 2 years ago ) he reported that it was nothing like before. Maybe because SW hasn’t done a movie that’s been as widely popular as the ones that have come before.
Weekends usually bring in more locals so that may ba a bigger reason the park vs will seem more crowded.
