may 2005 single vacationer analysis

Hi, everyone. just found this site and thought it would be cool to add some stuff on it. First i have to say I went on my first walt disney world trip from may 16-20 2005, and absolutely loved it!! To start off i'm a single working male. that lives in michigan. Anyways all my co-workers were taking time off on vacations earlier this year and i was the only one not ever doing anything so i said screw that i'm gonna have me a vacation. europe was too expensive than came this idea of disneyworld. Sounds and looks cool, did a crapload of research, my mom always told me she felt bad that i was going alone but i was like oh well, if i do it's all my fault. I must first say i LOVE the disney magical express they took care of my luggage from my airport directly to my room i didn't have to touch it at ALL!!

Then i spent a day in each park and i go to do EVERYTHING that i had planned out for my list. man i was thinking i was good. All the parks were pretty cool and fulfilling except the magic kingdom i got done with in relatively fast time around 8 hrs i still had like 5 hrs till the fireworks that was my only complaint. Other than that it rocked my socks and i'm 25 yrs old. i also saw la nouba and did the epcot seas tour, both of which i HIGHLY recommend. I have to say my favorite ride out of everything had to be that mission earth in epcot it was soo cool. and the epcot seas tour will forever be in my memory. For all you single guys and gals out there that are thinking about doing a single trip it is worth it. There is soo much to do at wdw as a single person that i don't understand why people don't recommend it?? you can have just as much fun being single at wdw as a couple would!! I recommend it HIGHLY!! Also I am going to book another wdw vacation very soon would like to go in february or march. What i'm waiting for is the expedition everest to finally give out it's opening date than i will book my next vacation within 24 hrs after knowing that!!!

The best part of being by yourself at WDW is doing exactly what you want when you want. :D

I'm glad you had fun and that's awesome you're already planning your next trip!

Hee Hee! I couldn't agree more with you dude! I Did it last year in October. I stayed at Grosvenor so I was closer to DTD. But had soooo much fun. I rode all my fav rides without anyone stopping me and doing something else. Plus you get to meet some very nice people. I met a family from Austrailia that never been there it was really unique for me. Then I went to Mickey's Not so scarry halloween party and oh my..that....was...freakin...sweet!! You even get to trick or treat and you have candy for the rest of your trip to munch on. Oh man..this is getting me Pschyed...Why you ask?? I'm going back in 32 days!!:sohappy: (as of this posting)

singel vacation

The epcot seas tour is when you get to actually swim in the living seas with all the fish, turtles and yes sharks. You get all the diving equipment like a pro only different is your air tanks float at the top of the water so you don't actually scuba dive but you get a respirater too. So you never need to put your head up to breathe, and you get to swim around the entire tank. It's breathtaking. And that was my first time being in water with sharks actually swimming with them. Very cool experience, you also get a picture of you with scuba gear on, a t-shirt, a save the planet pin as well. It's about 100 bucks but all the money goes to donation for saving the wildlife, and it is really worth it.

Thanks for the up and up about going to the park on your own. I went last summer with a friend and swore that next time i went i would be alone. I hated having to stop every time you turned around to look at something when I wanted to just go somewhere on my own. Right now, I am planning a trip with a friend who has never gone to WDW, but I know that if she drops out, I am on my way to Florida by myself.
