It's official, I'm going to WDW May 22-29. My mother didn't want me posting it until she got the confirmation in the mail (I think she thought I would jinx it). And the confirmation came today. We're staying in the Contemporary tower (!), and requested a Magic Kingdom view. We used code AXA and got the room for $280/night, plus 11.5% tax. I've heard other codes have come out since then that were maybe $10 or $15 cheaper than AXA, but oh well, I know my mother won't be calling them back. The only weird thing is that our confirmation came addressed to MR. and not MRS. It's annoying, but my mother's name is Robin, which is both male and female. I hope it won't matter when we check in; she has plenty of i.d. to prove she's a MRS. This is my first Disney trip without my dad; so either my mother and I will kill each other during the car ride down (New York to Florida, bah!), or it will be a great bonding experience. Now if only the May park hours would come out!
