So our trip is less than a month away!:happy: So excited as I have not been in 6 yrs, and this will be my Husbands 1st time ever!! We will be celebrating our 1yr anniversary as well and are staying at POP. I am wondering what the crowds will be like since it is the week before Memorial Day????? Does anyone have an idea? I hope it's not horribly overcrowded :cautious:. I was looking forward to seeing RoL but that got delayed indefinitely and all the nighttime AK stuff starts the week after we leave!:arghh::mad::banghead: So I guess now Im Turning my attention to the fact that Town Center will be opening while we are there and I'm just hoping for a soft opening of Frozen Ever After and possibly the OG Soarin' to be running by then! Any news is great News. :D:D

Crowds should be moderate but not heavy. We are traveling the same week--the last several years, our trip has overlapped Memorial Day and been pretty busy, so we are psyched at the late Memorial Day this year (hopefully) lessening crowds.

You'll get to see the Star Wars Fireworks at least! We are excited for some of the new dining coming to Town Center.

Yeah I agree I've been looking at forecasting crowds and a lot of sites are saying one of the best times to go is the week before Memorial Day! Plus with all the nighttime stuff happening then I imagine that a lot of people will be holding off till then. I just don't want to go and feel like it's late June I've done that before and NEVER AGAIN!

We've been at WDW the last two years during May and will be there again this May.
The crowds are manageable especially outside of the MK.
The week that we ran into Memorial Day was good up until the holiday itself.
That was a 8-9 crowd size day.....
We used to go the week of the 4th of July, and after I retired we vowed to never subject ourselves to those huge crowds again.

Yeah I'm more interested in the safari but considering I have fast passes all used up we will see if Standby is not too horrid. But thanks for making my day!!;)

Your welcome;) hope you have an amazing trip! We are just going to utilize The park hopper option on our AK day now that the nighttime stuff won't be open.
