Max Pass Tips

Hey guys I’m at the park right now. I remember reading some Max pass tips here but I can’t for the life of me remember any of them. Could anyone help? I’m trying to maximize the day for some non AP family that shelled out $180 each for park hoppers. Is there some loophole to getting more fast passes with Max Pass?

Thanks!

I haven’t used MaxPass but from what I gather, its biggest convenience over classic fastpass is the ability to make the reservations from the app. That way, if you see that Toy Story Mania has a return time for sometime you know you’ll be in that area but you’re stuck in Toontown at the moment and won’t be in DCA for another couple of hours, you can reserve those passes without having to go all the way back and forth. Other than that, it should work the same way as the Fastpass system you know and love.

Have fun!!

It's harder in the middle of the day, but in the morning you could get a bunch of different fastpasses. Also, you can think a little ahead, and if you know you're gonna parkhop, book a fastpass for the other park.

I've used it once, and discovered a beautiful workaround.

When a ride breaks down during your return window, it turns your pass into a multiple experience pass valid the rest of the day- and makes you eligible for a new fastpass. They don't stop you from getting additional passed for the broken down ride, so you can get a new multiple experience pass every 15 minutes or so for as long as the ride is broken down.

If you see a fp eligible ride is broken down, prioritize getting fastpass so for it since they should turn into a multiple experience pass in 15 or so.

When I was there, I had like 8 of em, in additonal to my regular maxpasses.

I know people have been figuring this out and one dude shared it on Reddit, so I just hope Disney doesn't change the system to prevent this.

Hey Bruh,

So here is what I did when I got it:

1. Reserve your first one while walking through the gates.
2. While in line about to redeem one, reserve your next one.
3. Use the night time entertainment time to reserve/redeem as many as you can. Unless of course your watching the entertainment, and then reserve your next one while watching.

Oh and Bruh, remember to have fun....

This is a good tip, for me it had also applied to when I missed my FP window. That might be a loop hole that Disney plugged by now, but it was great when I used it.

Thank you! Although I don’t like how much your face needs to be buried in the phone when using Max Pass there is no denying it’s super convenient. We got on all the E tickets we wanted to. Some more than once.

Wow this is a great tip! Unfortunately I was unable to use it. So we actually had FPs for RSR yesterday with a return item of 3:00. Around 1pm I noticed that RSR was down and the FPs has turned into multi experience FP. Unfortunately RSR has already run out FPs by that time.

Couple questions - while I had that multi experience FP could I have gotten multi experience FPs for OTHER attractions every 15 minutes? Do the multi experience options change based off what park you are located in or are the options limited to the park where the original FP Attraction went down?

I thought when an attraction goes down they stop FP Distribution until the ride is back up no?

Anyway eventually RSR came up and I used it for that. However, it became more convenient as you could use it anytime so we chose to ride it late night.

So I did see your tip while I was there yesterday but unfortunately the only FP ride that I saw down for a brief period was Indy but we weren’t eligible for FPs when it was down. We had another 45 minutes to go until we could get a new FP and by then it was back up and running.
