masterpiece and platinum editions

what is the difference? i just bought the lion king platinum edition and alice in wonderland masterpiece edition. what is better platinum or masterpiece? what has been released so far in platinum edition and in masterpiece edition and do you know where i can get them?

I guess Masterpiece edition refers to that it was made by Walt Disney himself.
