Marriott Village

Hello -

I am hoping to obtain some opinions of the Marriott Village area. We are considering either the Courtyard or SpringHill Suites.

Would anyone be able to tell us how the transportation to the parks work from Marriott Village? I believe I read that it is for a daily fee, however I am wondering how often the busses might be running (Deccember). Does the Marriott Village Transportation just drop-off and pick-up at one location within WDW, or do they go to a few places/parks?

If we stay at an off-site hotel, can we still use the Disney Transportation to go from park to park, say if we want to go from MK to Epcot?

Thanks!

I know the Fairfield Inn @ Marriott Village offers shuttle service to the parks for a fee. I'm staying there in October. I have no other experience with Marriott Village.

Once you get to Disney, you can use the parks' transportation service to go between all the parks. You don't have to stay on property to do that. Enjoy!

I've stayed there several times but never used the transportation, as it's just easier and quicker to drive (have annual pass for parking). If you're really worried about it, you can call the hotel and have them fax you the shuttle schedule.

There's a deal running on mousesavers that includes the shuttle fee, so you may want to check it out.

Choosing between hotels: depends on the size of your party. Courtyard is a tad nicer, but doesn't include breakfast (FF & SS have nice continental). The Springhill will give you a larger room with a sofabed, minifridge.

We have stayed at the FF twice and really enjoy staying there. We also had a car both times so I can't speak about transportation to the park. We always parked at one of the parks, then used the transporation to other parks if we were visiting more than one. I found that much easier than driving myself.
