Has anyone done the Marine Mammal Keeper program at Sea World?? It is a full day program and costs about $400 but they just do not tell you exactly what kind of animal interactions you will get. I don't want to pay that much and wind up cleaning out the walrus pen!!

They don't tell you because it can change during the day depending on the animals. If the dolphins or whales are not in a good mood, SeaWorld isn't going to put you around them (remember what happened in San Diego a few months back).

I've done the program. It was a few years ago. We started with Shamu, feeding, getting food ready, petting, playing and so on. We also were able to swim in the back pool WITHOUT the whales in that particular pool. It's COLD!

We then went to Dolphin and Whale Stadium (before Blue Horizons was put in) and swam with dolphins. We didn't do much with False Killer Whales because they were in a bad mood.

The best was at Clyde and Seamore's house. We swam with Sir Winston Walrus in the show pool and danced with the sea lions. We went backstage to all the areas and saw how the animals live and hang out. It was a blast.

Lunch was a huge sandwich made to order. We also hung out with the non marine animals during lunch to break up the day.

There is a shower to use afterwords if you want.

In my opinion, it's worth the money.
