when does mardi gras start and what day does it end????

Mardi gras has been going on for weeks now. It started in Feb. and ends on April 6 (less than two weeks left). There are two concers left which are Hootie and the Blowfish which will be on 3/30 and Sister Hazel which will be on the last day. Right now, they have two parades a day, every day. The second parade is at 10 nightly.
