Mardi Gras

I know WDW celebrates Mardi Gras but does anyone know the dates for the celebration this year? Fat Tuesday is on Feb 12th. Does the celebration start many days earlier than that?

I went to port orleans around february 21 -26 and they had a great celebration for marti gras there were clowns and balloon people and clowns on walking sticks. Just to let you know port orleans is closed right now but I dont know why

Pleasure Island usually celebrates the week before Fat Tuesday, with Fat Tuesday, of course, being the final day. They have a parade and carny games for it...parade is kewl. I miss it this year

They could be like the idiots at Six Flags who have Mardi Gras celebrations in May because their parks are closed...losers...AND THEY MAKE YOU BUY THE PLASTIC NECKLACES!

Hmm...I never thought about going to Disney for Mardi Gras...

It would be a lot tamer that what I am used to at Mardi Gras time, living in the French Quarter, as I do.
