I am not a country music fan-at all. When we are up in UOR in a couple of weeks, The Band Perry will be performing. I have absolutely NO INTEREST in seeing them, however I understand they are rather popular. Do you think this will make DA more empty, or should we just avoid the park all together? Although we've been there a bunch of times, we have never stayed for concerts.

The attractions were not closed when we were there and Kelly Clarkson was performing. We went through twister, the mummy and transformers during her set.
We also managed to wonder the shops of DA more freely during the concert as compared to earlier in the day.

They may have opened things up because it was a complete madhouse the last time she was there. Or it's just a new policy. But they would essentially close most of the park's normal operations around parade time in previous years, and try to corral everyone south of the NY area.

Maybe. I know right at the end of our night, we ran back through the mardi gras vendors. When we got to the end, near transformers, I looked at the crowd and told my wife it was going to be a mad house to get through an employee heard me and motioned us back towards transformers. They had a gate up and weren't letting people back towards the concert, but letting us out of that area. We then went to the car, just so it wasn't a mad house leaving.

New policy this year, at least during Spring Break. Park open until 10, with concert around 8:45ish.
