Map Tip

Hi - Just thought of a map tip for you...

The Passporter has great park maps. I really like the fact that they show the walking times between different areas of the parks. I took those maps, made a color copy, and then took the copies to an office supply store and had them laminated. They were 8x11 sheets, which I thought might be too big to handle at the parks, but they slipped right into my backpack. I also packed in a mni-Sharpie. These ended up being wonderful on the trip. Because they were laminated they never got wet or dog-eared, and we used the sharpie to note show times or places we had already been. I've used them on three trips since!!

Great tip, DisneyMarg! Here's an add-on to that tip for first-time visitors: study the maps before you go. Find the attractions and restaurants you know you'll want to try and see what's nearby. The more you have memorized, the less you'll have to refer to the maps when you're there. There's a ton of walking involved in a trip to WDW; the more you can avoid unnecessary backtracking, the better.
