Manufacture of WDW characters?

Hi, tnx for a great forum! I wonder who and where Disney Character Performer Costumes are made, especially the ones with blinking eyes and talking mouth in «Dream Along With Mickey». I'm not 100% sure about the character heads that have moving parts, but all of the costumes and head pieces are made on WDW property.

Serious answer: Disney produces their own costumes in house, and in a few rare exceptions, to their specifications through vendors. However, all heads are made in house.

It is amazing how well made the characters are being made in house. I see character costumes you can rent locally and they are well...really bad in comparison. Even Universal's character wardrobes are not the best except for Harry Potter.

There are no costumes. Those are actually the characters.
