I had already started a thread on this topic called: HKDL - Man scales Space Mtn.

I got two replies. This thread, with 'suicide' in the title, gets 21 replies. Now we know why sensationlist journalism is perpetuated by big media.

I'd be interested in the other thread, if I would have seen it. I won't let the over-hyped media control me.

It was/is right before this thread on the list. As I said, the word "suicide" catches peoples' attention. A man simply scaling Space Mtn. doesn't.

Not at the time it wasn't. Don't assume that without evidence. Most of us use the new posts feature. I tend to go to the ones highest on the list first and work my down. Or I could have done it before you posted yours. But I will not denly the fact that if given the choice of reading about a sucide on space mt. or reading about a man climbing space mt., I would most likely choose the first.

This thread has been here for a couple days now. It has 1,103 views. My thread has 76. It's just an interesting study and shows how sensational headlines and thread topics catch the attention of readers. Even I was going for the slightly sensational headline when I started the thread!

I'm glad they talked the guy down and that he's alright, at least physically.
