Making it to universal

So I'm coming to Florida in sept next year and wasn't intending doing universal as we're staying at a Disney hotel and have the 14 day tickets plus car hire for the sake of two or three days is a major faff and overly expensive....

Just wondering if anyone knows a way we could make it to universal without needing to hire a car and how many days we might need for it? Is two enough?

Two is enough to hit the main attractions, three is ideal but September is quiet so you should be able to see most of the main attractions in two days.

Don't rent a car, by the time you pay for parking as well that's way too expensive. Instead just order an Uber cab from your Disney hotel, it should get you to Universal for about $15, no parking to pay. Alternatively you can order a Mears shared shuttle which is $21 per person for a return trip I think.
