making a first disney trip amazing

I have a friend of mine i work whose grand daughter is going to disney world for her first time this coming summer. I told him i would try to find as many special perks for her to make her trip that much better. All i know so far is that getting the "first trip to disney" button usually gets a bunch of stickers and different greetings from the cast members all around the parks and hotels. I was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas that i could pass on to my friend to make his granddaughters trip that much better.

Make sure they know how to work fast passes, if they're going in the summer it's going to be busy and the lines will be long. I know some people still don't know what fast passes are or how to use them so they don't.

Thanks guy. I know his granddaughter is huge into the princesses so she will probably want to do that dinner. I myself have never done the princesses due to having to younger brothers and now have a son so i do luck out there. I already suggested setting here up with the princess boutique they have down there.

Not to hijack your thread, but I haven't been this optimistic about the Sox, preseason, in a very long time. They look good, and NESN will soon be the TV station of choice at rsoxmanor.
Best wishes on helping your coworker. I still think that he will be able to find a nice package of goodies for his granddaughter at the Disney florist, but I'm just as fussy about the internet (just not as old :)).

haha yea he is a grumpy guy but definately very funny too. he is more of a hands on ill make the phone call kind of guy. he spoils his grand daughter all the time he just wont admit that he does. So i told him i would find out as much as i could to make sure she has a blast down there. Ive already given him a huge list fo stuff to do but when it comes to girls im clueless never gone with a little girl always boys and now i take my son with me.

I have a daughter who is college age now, but still fanatical about WDW. She grew up going to WDW often (30 or so times a year). I can tell you that, from my experience, Disney World does not require an inordinately large amount of extra perks for a little girl. I believe that your friend's granddaughter will enjoy herself regardless of the extras.

i figured she would, just so used to not doing the girl things so i figured id reach out and make sure. I took my son 2 summers ago for his birthday and the look on his face was priceless. He could barely talk when he first saw the castle. I cant wait to take this christmas to see the faces he makes when he sees everything decorated
