Making a Dining Reservation on Arrival Day

Not my first trip to WDW, but my first with an ECV.
Arriving Orlando 10 AM. Magic Express to Wilderness Lodge and 3:00 reservation at 50's Prime Time.

My (generous) assumptions
arrive WL 12:30 (1 hr wait at airport, travel time to WL)
check in and ready to roll 1:00 (I will pre-check in)
Dad on ECV and me on bus to Studios by 2:00.

I purchased park tickets through a 3rd party (TicketsAtWork.com), and they tell me I need to do a Will Call at the park entrance. Not sure if that is the case or not, but I was figuring at least 20 minutes at the ticket window.

Will we arrive in time for our cousin to bring the fried chicken?

Time at the airport sounds fine if you’re flying within the US. Otherwise it could take longer to clear immigration and customs.

You will either be sent magic bands (if you live in the US) or they will have them for you at the front desk (if you’re from overseas). Or you can use any previous magic bands as long as they are still “active” in MDE. If they are more than 2 years old, the RFID chip may not still be active, which will only affect ride videos and other interactive elements.

Either way, you can use any magic bands interchangeably, no need to call at a ticket window if you’re staying onsite.

Your room may not be ready but you can leave everything at Bell Services.

2:30/3:00pm is a reasonable time to plan for arriving at DHS and getting through the gates.

Your plan looks fine. One question: is your Dad bringing his own ECV on the plane with him? If so, I believe you need to notify DME in advance. They have buses with wheelchair lifts, but they need to know in advance because not all busses have them.?

He will be using a "transport chair"--a manual wheelchair with 4 small wheels--lightweight and foldable--in the airport and on the bus. He can walk and get on the bus with no problems, but cannot manage the long distances that are required at WDW.
We will rent an ECV in Orlando.
The transport chair should fold up and take up less room than most strollers.
